My Labor and Delivery was soooo much better this time and it's all because of the Push Prep Course. I felt more in control and was able to manage my breathing and pain much better. But honestly if it wasn't for your class the delivery probably would have gone the other way. The nursing staff was trying to manipulate my legs "the wrong way" and I was able to advocate for myself to open my sacrum. I could tell the staff was frustrated with me but I knew I was doing the right thing for ME. Baby girl came out in 3 pushes, no tears. My postpartum recovery has been smooth sailing. With the course, my stress incontinence improved and is at a better state than it's ever been!

The Push Prep Course saved my mental health going into my delivery and the 4th Trimester, and it has helped save my pelvic floor. Whenever I know someone who's pregnant I have them follow you and rave about your course. You are an angel on this earth lol. THANK YOU a million times, thank you. I was a rockstar in my precipitous birth. No epidural! No tears! I'm a badass thanks to you!
- Holly
I had to be induced due to high blood pressure at 37-6. I was terrified that an induction would lead to another CS, but I went into it trying to be positive. I am so happy to say that with all the information I learned through your classes I was able to breathe my 8 pound 5 ounce baby out in less than 20 minutes, with no tearing at all, followed by an amazing recovery. The feeling of being able to complete my dream of a VBAC was so Empowering, and I really feel like I have you to thank.

Hey Nikki, I just wanted to say thank you for your incredible prenatal course. I just had a planned c-section 6 days ago for my second baby (the first was an emergency c-section) and although I didn't labour or anything, the knowledge your program has provided has been incredible for my journey to help me prepare for the surgery and recovery. Those first few days post c-section are so tough pain wise but I've been focusing on gently trying to reconnect my deep abdominals to my breathing to help the healing process along. So thank you for what you do and for empowering women with knowledge through whatever birth journey they choose.
- Chelsey
Had my second at Sunnybrook this weekend. Your class really helped me. I was able to breathe through contractions calmly including a lengthy process to get my epidural as I have mild scoliosis. They struggled and I had to stay still for a long time. When it came time to push I advised I would be breathing through and not holding my breath unless it was a problem for safety. I pushed the baby out with just breath and core in 12 minutes, with no tearing. In contrast with my first epidural, I was so dense and purple pushed resulting in forcep delivery, third degree tear, and on narcotics for a couple weeks for the pain. I recommend your prenatal course to everyone!

Questions people ask before joining Prenatal Pilates & Push Prep
Should birth partners join?
Birth partners will benefit most from listening to lectures in modules 4, 7 and 8 as well as watching the Childbirth & Pushing Without Fear workshop in the dashboard which covers birth partner hands on pain relief tips.
I'm over 36 weeks pregnant, am I too late?
Students can join anytime, but it can be challenging to complete the Push Prep course materials in less than 4 weeks. If you are less than 4 weeks from your due date we would recommend doing the Push Mini Course as you don't have as much time to benefit from all the content in the complete Push Prep course.
Can I do the "pushing" part of the course only? I do my own workouts.
We have observed that birth education is most effective when combined with movement and breath training. These workouts are specific to the pregnant core and pelvic floor and help you reduce diastasis, prolapse and incontinence - not to mention train you for pushing. Therefore, we do not offer the course without the movement component. We want our students to get the best possible results.
How long are the workouts?
The workouts range from 15 - 45 minutes and can all be done in the comfort of your own home. You can pause, and come back if you get interrupted mid-way. We get it!
I had a traumatic birth and want to avoid that again, is this the right place for me?
Breathe a sigh of relief. You are in the right place, friend. We have many many students in the course who are recovering from prior birth trauma and hoping for a better experience this time. We will support you step by step.
How do the live Q & A sessions work?
Login to your dashboard and ask questions in our Q&A software! You can even “vote” on other student questions that you want answered. Nikki will host a weekly Q & A on Zoom. You can attend live, or just watch the Q & A recording!
I just found out I'm pregnant. I want to be prepared. Which option should I choose?
Congrats! It is never too early to start this kind of movement and education! Choose one of the options with 9 months access so you can use the resources and get your questions answered throughout your pregnancy.
I never healed my diastasis or prolapse and I'm pregnant again. What do I do?
The key is learning to better manage intra abdominal pressure, and this is EXACTLY what we will teach you! It is possible to prevent further prolapse and diastasis in this pregnancy, and to make your postpartum recovery much smoother!
What equipment do I need?
We recommend a variety pack of booty bands, a set of 2 or 3 lbs. weights and a small inflatable Pilates ball (about 7 - 10 inches). Choose 7 inches if you are under 5 feet 4. Choose 9 or 10 inches if you are taller! Here is a link to our equipment page!
What is your return policy?
These programs are downloadable and/or viewable through streaming. As they are digital, they are deemed “used” upon purchase. This means there are no refunds, no exceptions. Please read the product descriptions carefully and ensure you are aware of what you are getting. Note that it is your responsibility to ensure your computer is up for the job. You can read the full shop policy here.
How quickly or slowly should I move through the course materials?
It is up to you and what makes sense for your life! We offer 3 different ways to navigate the 8 modules depending on how much time you have left in your pregnancy. There is a condensed 6 week path, an 8 week path and a more relaxed 12 week path! If you join us early in pregnancy, you get even more time to absorb the material!
