Questions people ask before joining Pilates Pelvic Floor & Core Restore
When can I begin after birth?
You can begin from 3-4 weeks post uncomplicated vaginal delivery OR 6-8 weeks post cesarean birth or assisted vaginal delivery (forceps, vacuum, episiotomy, 3rd or 4th degree tearing).
I'm many years postpartum, is it too late?
No matter how long it’s been since birth, this is the place to begin with your recovery. We’ve had women in their 60’s do the class and finally get results with improved leaking and back pain. It’s never too late.
How long are the workouts?
The workouts range from 15 - 30 minutes and can all be done in the comfort of your own home. You can pause, and come back if you get interrupted mid-way. We get it!
How do the live Q&A sessions work?
Login to your dashboard and ask questions in our Q&A software! You can even "vote" on other student questions that you want answered. Nikki will host weekly live sessions. You can attend live, or just watch the Q&A recording!
I have diastasis. Does this program help with that?
Yes. You’re in the right place. Learn to connect to, engage, and progressively overload your connective tissue to build tension and function in your core. Feel confident again in your own skin.
I have prolapse. Does this program help with that?
Yes. We’ve got you covered. Learn various tools to approach healing including hypopressives, pressure management, pelvic floor muscle training, and release work. Nikki has lived this first-hand and will guide you through it.
What equipment do I need?
We recommend a variety pack of booty bands, a set of 2 or 3 lbs. weights and a 9-10-inch inflatable Pilates ball.
